The Best and the Worst Acne Product Reviews
You should always be very careful when believing acne product reviews. Using the wrong medications could make your breakouts even worse. Look at every feature of a review before buying anything. You should know what kind of acne the medication is for. You should also know if the treatment is for healing an existing breakout or if it is a preventative. Determining whether or not you can live with the side effects is also important.
We have compiled this list of acne reviews with this information in mind. Some of these products are great. Some users literally think they are miraculous. Others are just awful. Check the acne product reviews below so you can see if your medication made our list.
Favorites
Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash:
This is a great, affordable product. It also can be used with basically any degree of acne. The wash was made to remove all the oil. It should be used twice a day. It tends to dry the skin out a little. Oil-free moisturizer will correct this. Within a week users noticed improvement. Over time this carried on. However, totally clear skin is not always achievable for everyone by just using the wash. But if you have really bad acne, the wash will make a noticeable difference. Clearing up mild to moderate acne can be achieved with the wash.
Proactiv:
This acne treatment was put in our stars acne product reviews because it works like a charm. Lots of users swear by Proactive – and we don’t mean the stars in the commercials. But Proactive has been getting very mixed reviews. You can treat mild to moderate acne easily with this product. Severe acne really may not respond too well. Proactiv kills bacteria that stays in your pores and causes acne. This is pretty effective and relatively fast as long as there are not too many bacteria to handle. But severe acne can bit a bit much for this particular product. Also, once your skin is clear you have to keep using this product or all the bacteria will come back.
Stinkers
Clear and Continuous Control Acne Cleanser:
This facial cleanser is really good. When you wash your face, it feels all cool and tingly. But its not a good treatment at all for acne. While it felt good on my face, it had few effects. However, users prone to regular breakouts (not acne) had good luck with this one. It is on our “stinkers” list because it does not live up to the “acne cleanser” part of its name.
Murad Acne Treatments:
A company that makes great beauty products is Murad. However, their acne treatments are not so great. This companies acne products seem to make the problem worse for most people. With a money-back guarantee you will have to wait on your refund while possibly dealing with some serious image issues. Use this product sparingly and with care if you decide to give it a try.
Of course this is only a few out of hundreds of acne treatments available. They were just the ones that really stood out. It is always wise to check acne product reviews before buying.
