Deep Penetrating Light Therapy ? A Closer Look at This Up-And-Coming Therapy and Industry?
I recently began investigating a new (to me) tool for both pain relief and beauty. This is not in my realm of expertise, but I am learning more about it.
I first heard about this therapy via a customer of mine who asked if I carried a particular device. In the process of my research I learned a lot of interesting things.
One is that the FDA apparently has no problems whatsoever with this type of therapy. In fact, I know of one device that is actually FDA cleared for pain relief. This was a bit shocking and surprising. It must be a very good sign if it could make it made it beyond the watchful scrutiny of the FDA!
When I talked to the manufacturer’s representative for this device, she told me that they are expecting to be cleared for beauty purposes as well. One of the health benefits to deep penetrating light therapy is that it may boost collagen and elastin production. If true, it is plausible to think that such therapy could be capable of making skin look younger and more beautiful.
This could be very good news for women everywhere. In the case of pain relief, it could be good news for both men and women!
Here are some of the other alleged benefits from deep penetrating light therapy:
Stimulate the production of collagen. Collagen is the most common protein found in the body. Collagen is the essential protein used to repair damaged tissue and to replace old tissue. It is the substance that holds cells together and has a high degree of elasticity.
Stimulate fibroblastic activity – Which aids in the repair process. Fibroblasts are present in connective tissue and are capable of forming collagen fibers.
Increase vascularity (circulation). Circulation is increased by increasing the formation of new capillaries, which are additional blood vessels that replace damaged ones. New capillaries speed up the healing process by carrying more oxygen as well as more nutrients needed for and they can also carry more waste products away.
Stimulate the release of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). ATP is the major carrier of energy to all cells. A T P provides the chemical energy that drives the chemical reaction of the cell. It is the body’s fuel!
Increase lymphatic system activity. Edema, which is the swelling or natural splinting process of the body, has two basic components. The first is a liquid part, which can be evacuated by the blood system, and the second is comprised of the proteins, which have to be evacuated by the lymphatic system. Research has shown that the lymph vessel diameter and the flow of the lymph system can be doubled with the use of light therapy.
Increase RNA and DNA synthesis. This helps damaged cells to be replaced more promptly. Reduce the excitability of nervous tissue.

Skin Care To Prevent Pimples
One of the worst problems adolescents and adults often confront is the trouble of pimples or acne, but with a great concept about how to prevent or reduce the issues, be on the know about skincare to prevent zits.
Many individuals frequently get frustrated upon seeing that much- dreaded zit right smack in your face or a cold sore at the corner of your mouth as you wake up one morning, most especially when it appears during an important appointment or meeting about to come about.
But fret no longer, since the’re practical and effective ways to prevent a pimple from coming out and making your day.
Pimples occur when the skin pores are clogged with a oil called sebum, which is commonly secreted by the skin to lubricate the hair and skin.
This is predominant especially among adolescents when they enter puberty where hormones tend to overproduce sebum.
It is the face that is frequently suspectible to this condition since the face particularly the forehead, cheeks nose and chin where nearly all of the sebaceous glands producing sebum are found.
Even so, there are fashions to prevent, better yet, avoid zits from occurring or erupting and here are a lot off the most frequent yet practical ways to prevent zits or acne from breaking out.
Wash the face twice daily, most in particular when you have just been subjected to dust and grime by utilizing a mild soap and warm water.
Ensure to gently rub down the face with circular motions and do not attempt to scrub, since scrubbing or even overwashing can get to or damage the skin.
To further prevent zits from returning, also apply an over the counter topical ointment or cream with benzoyl peroxide, which will help decrease skin oil and bacteria.
Don’t pop or squeeze out the pimple, no matter how tempting or irresistible it may look like, since it will only help cause more harm than good.
Popping a pimple will only are inclined to drive infected sebum deeper into the pore and result further in redness, puffiness and even worse, scarring. If you feel the requirement to have it taking away, see a dermatologist who can better take away it for you without the fear of getting infected or scarred.
Always avoid touching the face with your bare fingers, especially without sanitizing or cleaning your hands thoroughly, or allowing the face to enter direct contact with objects that would tend to collect sebum from others, such as the handset of a telephone or borrowing a facial towel, since it might result in your zits or acne to become more irritated or infected.
If you often wear dark glasses or eyeglasses, make certain to keep it clean all the time, most importantly parts of the eyewear that touch with the skin, since it could collect sebum that would worsen pimples or acne.
For individuals who get acne on parts of their body, make sure to avoid wearing tight-fitting clothes that prevent your skin from breathing, therefore further causing more infection. Also avoid wearing scarves, caps, headbands and any article of clothing that would prevent the skin from breathing and may collect oil or dirt.
Always make it a factor to remove makeup prior to sleep. Look for makeup products that’re labeled “noncomedogenic” or “nonacnegenic” since these are formulated to avoid zits. Don’t hesitate to throw out old makeup that smells or looks distinctive from when it was first bought.
Always keep hair clean and far from making contact with the face to prevent dirt and oil from clogging the pores.
Finally, look after the skin from the sun. Although many believe that a tan can conceal acne, it’s but short lived and may even cause the body to produce extra sebum. Worse, too much exposure to sunshine can increase the risk of getting skin cancer.
Always be on the winning edge in the war against acne and it does not take much to know these hints on skincare to avoid pimples.
